My roommate Kristen and I headed over to check out the new Terry Richardson exhibit at the Ohwow gallery.
It was closed (of course) because I am eternally one hour behind schedule.
Snapped some photos, which resulted in a sore back and messed up wrist for a few hours.. followed by the best ramen ever at Robata Jinya. (You won’t be disappointed!)
And that’s the end of my acrobatic / bubblegum pink pant / sparkly gold shoe wearing career.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup pancake batter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 Cups Chocolate-Covered Potato Chips from Trader Joes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
Add eggs.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes (however you like em)
I’m making sushi and s’mores tonight for my date!
Not the most likely combination for dinner and dessert, but I think it’s pretty perfect.
I will love this hike until the day my dog discovers a head followed by an official “cadaver dog” finding severed limbs. (read gruesome story here)
Gah what a nightmare…
and to think that pretty much happened a little less than ten days ago just a few blocks away from my apartment.
Positive thoughts though.
I may be addicted to the day old $1 scones from Trails.
Went back three times in one week.
